Torque settings
Hi, i've just bought some 'dog bones' to rise the rear 35mm and would like to know what the torque settings are for the linkage bolts?
Thanks for any help, mines a K5 model. |

Re: Torque settings
Drop that by 10% if you use copperslip (I always do, they're a pig to remove)

Re: Torque settings
If a thread is greased then more of the turning moment being transferred to the tension in the bolt, rather than overcoming the friction of the threads. The 10% compensates for this.
Then again, I very rarely use a torque wrench.
