"Conservatives are good with money" (says no sane person).

£4.3 billion written off in fraudulent covid loans
£10 billion written off on unsuitable or date expired PPE equipment

Money allocated for Levelling Up = £4.8 billion

(Liz Truss' private jet to Australia = £500,000)

any other gov would do the same and the increased public levy will pay for it in no time.

i personally think that the UK should keep its noise out of other peoples business.

DVLA
I SORNed the bike for winter at the end of December and got a cheque refunding three months tax last week. Banked it on Monday and it bounced! Stopped by the issuer apparently.
It's impossible to contact them to follow it up. A cheery phone message tells me they are all busy and unable to take my call before cutting out and disconnecting.

Just had a fourth covid jab (not a booster this time) on account my reportedly compromised immune system. (I take a small weekly dose of methotrexate for an arthritic condition I've had for the last couple of decades).
I was hoping I would escape the flu like effects of the jab this time, but I can already feel it coming on. Bleh.......
