Watching the Eurovision Song Contest while chatting with friends on Twitter also watching. Some of it was quite bonkers.

All credit to the Swedish hosts, this song was a huge p1$$ take and the best bit of the night.

My bike has been in storage for over 8 months while the garage was built. It started first push of the button

Cue little dance of delight around the storage yard.*

A cracking family weekend. Lady Poppy had an insignificant birthday in December but as the weather is usually pants we had an official day yesterday instead round at my parents. Nice group meal at a fun American style diner in Norwich before back to my cousins where she brought out a surprise cake. Much drinking and toasting to my lovely wife ensued and thankfully the headache is now receding.

Hi Trev, which diner was it and was it any good? We went to 7heavenburgers in Exchange street last week and the food was very good but the facilities were very basic.

Overhearing a works supervisor saying;

He makes David Brent look like Sir Alan Sugar.

And knowing exactly which boss he was talking about.

Zacs on Mousehold. Good sized portions, friendly staff, sensible prices. Considering there was nine of us and the place was pretty full they did a very nice job.

Finally got a C40 frame, for a good price, i just hope it isnt a dud. It might need a paint job, but I'll live with that.

Yeah, Zaks is good. Been there many a time. They also have a second restaurant at the bottom of Mousehold, just off the inner ring road. Not so big though and the parking is rubbish.
