I had a suite at the Landmark one night. All very nice but if you want tea or coffee you have to call room service, it's £12.50 and then you have to wait for it.

The last of the great railway hotels built beside a London terminus, used to be called the Grand Central. Get's good reviews but considering the 5 star rating I'm surprised a tea is only £12.50, which I'm sure will upset anyone who lives north of Watford but, well, that's London for you.

I am gainfully employed again. Start my new contract later this week in Maidenhead, so a very reasonable 11 mile commute. Considering how bored I was getting this is a huge relief, even though I will have to start getting up early again.
