Default Curvy exhaust stud size.

Hey all, hoping I can get some help regarding the exhaust stud 'total length' as I'm going to pull the factory steel studs out before they start rusting. I've found a supplier for stainless studs with a hex socket in the end so winding them in will be a breeze, I just need to know the total length of an original stud so I can order all the correct bits before I start the job. Cheers.

Can't say for certain re the curvy, but I wouldn't imagine it's much different to the pointy. In any case, having just removed mine ('09 pointy) are A2 stainless hex-socket cap head screws ( 'M8' LOA = 32.5mm, thread length 25mm).

I bought a pack of stainless studs and flanged nuts and the studs supplied are 40mm. These studs have a hex socket in the ends (maybe helpful for future removal).

That is exactly what I intend to buy the stainless studs with the hex in the end. So ... you reckon about 40mm total stud length?

The studs as supplied to me by RaceFasteners are 40mm (measured) -though I've not fit them yet, so couldn't say whether that leaves much excess protruding out.

Ahh, I see, it's the total length of the stud I need specifically for the curvy in case there is a difference between curvy and pointy. Once I have the length measurement I'll buy the studs and nuts to suit.
Anyone have a 'curvy' manifold stud they could measure for me?
