Default Maxxis

I thought I'd be brave and try a cheepo Maxxis on the rear of my K7 naked, I do about 250 miles a week 50/50 motorway/A road. Milage is more important at the moment as don't get much chance of pleasure use, wife and two small children take all spare time up.
I'll let you know how the tyre is going, it seemed to bed in quite quick and feels stable at speed too.

It will be interesting to hear how these perform in the real world. They have been getting some surprisingly good reviews in the press.

Got a Supermaxxis on the rear; IMHO, good in wet and dry, confidence-inspiring to the edge, has been on for 2 1/2 years so can't remember what kms it went on at so can't comment on mileage.

2 and a half years? Bloody hell. Does the bike not get out much?

DMC really rates MAXXIS and he does not hang about, think he is on his 2nd or 3rd set.

I've got the Maxxis Supersport on the CBR. Seems pretty good so far although I've not ridden it on a really wet road yet. Can't really complain about £84 including delivery.

Ride all day on a Honda CT110, dulled the urge for a while plus worn out SV carbs with simultaneous dead rear coil had it going nowhere for a year and a half. Took it out once I got it mobile and remembered why I always loved the SV.
