Default Delkevic 350mm

Hi,
I just joined this site so this is my first post.
I've had my SV650 for about 2 months now and I'm thinking about getting a Delkevic 350 mm oval stainless can.
Does anyone have this on their SV? Any problems with it? Does it pop and bang on over run?
Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Got a Delkevic on the Mrs' bike.

Built well, looks good, sounds good, loud but not offensive and was a good price.

Doesn't really pop and bang though. If you want that try a Blue Flame

I want to avoid the pop/bang. My last bike (1998 Honda CB500) popped a lot so i put the original can back on eventually.
I want something that looks and sounds better than the standard exhaust, too big and quiet.
From what you've said the Delkevic sounds like what I'm after, good price too.
Thanks.

usually the popping and banging is due to leaks in the system.

My Blue Flame would pop and bang like crazy with the baffle out but not with it in.

I have a Blue Flame trioval, great can, good noise and on a yellow k1 you do get noticed.

Exhaust finally expired !!!

Have now got a Yoshimua carbon fibre trioval, deeper tone but still sounds great

Ring Beowulf and ask them what they've got in terms of 'seconds'. They don't advertise them, but I live about 3 miles away from them and popped in and got a can worth about 230 for 150 because 'it was scratched during manufacture'.

I couldnt see the scratch, even when pointed out to me (and yes I had the glasses on) and it looks the sh!t and certainly turns heads...
