Re: Yamaha's new FZ8 - anyone else keen?
I like stubby bikes
Probably wrong but I always assume they'll handle well/fast.

Re: Yamaha's new FZ8 - anyone else keen?
If its got a crossplain crank then it might be interesting. Other wise its going to be a FZ1 with less power.

Re: Yamaha's new FZ8 - anyone else keen?
Edited. Might be interesting, if it opens up a class of 750-800cc machines. I'd like to see where this class is going, if Honda & Suzuki decide to join in, along with the current contenders.

I somehow doubt that knocking 200cc will really lose it any weight. Im pretty sure wet weight will be over 200kg. |

"Service weight" for the ABS versions is 221kg v 206kg, so should be somewhere around 210kg logically. Weight isn't everything, but I personally think the mid-ground between the whole 600/1000 packages could bring some very interesting bikes for all round road use.

I personally think they should make more 400's. They should be perfect road bikes. Not sooo fast its easy to lose a licence but very fun all the same |
