My brother had a restricted RS125, he claimed it was good for 85 - 90mph. He then derestricted it and fitted a race pipe and larger expansion chamber etc etc and it was good so he claimed for 110mph...

Of course it seized mind you

I think it's an odd entry to their line up. Pricing will be interesting. How much less they will charge for the 200cc deficit compared with the FZ1 I'm not sure. How they're able to charge any less at all I've no idea.

It's why BMW aren't at all eager to produce a 600IL4 sports bike. I mean, "at the end of the day", unless you're putting inferior components on the smaller engined machine, how does designing, making and fitting an engine with a slightly smaller capacity save you significant money? Profit margins as a percentage are surely bigger on the litre sports bikes than on the 600s.

i was talking about in general, the most i have seen is 90 out of my friends nsr but i know for well they can do 100+ even top 120

yeh i know but most i know only do about 70ish but a few can do a bit more
