If you have a black bike then get black stompgrip.

Any other colour, go for clear.

Spend lots of time cleaning the tank first and then once you have finished, clean the tanksome more.

Heat up the grips well too, the hotter the better.

And don't ride the bike for at least 24 hours after application

oh, has anyone tried/using Gripster grip pads by techspec? they seem soft, more comfy and cheaper

I looked into it a fairbit before I bought mine - by the looks of things stompgrip was understood to be the best*.
I agree with the above black bike> black sgrip.
If you buy the stompgrip from the v2mal site I have a discount code for a free v sponge and 10% off (I think) IIRC it's st4ple (or maybe it's st4ble)

Had them on the Daytona, great stuff, not readily available in the UK but far more popular than the stomp grip on the 675 site...
