Never done a track day before but I have seen this and it looks quite tempting, especially after looking at this

Will keep an eye on weather and finances and make my mind up later in the week.

i definately won't be there, had an off this morning and i doubt i'll have it fixed in time.

I know it's cheap and I have driven that track hundreds of times (on the playstation) so know it's good.

Just don't want my first track day to be in the rain cause I know I wont enjoy it and it will put me off.

If forecast is still good on Thu I'll get it booked.

Rain isn't the end of the world, and what better way to get used to riding in the rain if you don't alread?

I've only done one TD out of 5 in the dry.

+1 rainy track days arent bad. having done a wet one on the SV in nov 09, and it was my first had a great day. second was sunny/dry on zx9 and that was on the limit. both at mallory.

I have only done one day and was brilliant sun shine. Reckon a wet day would do me good. Am definitely considering that silverstone day. Although probably not the best track for an SV

I'm not an experienced rider on track. Commuting in the wet Im confident, but on track its embarrassing. Prefer dry. Having said that, last week at brands hatch it was wet all day and I managed to keep up with someone on an R1 and on the last lap I overtook him. A great feeling so it can still be fun
