charity ride 3rd sept
Calling All Bikers – Bikers For Neurosupport are proud to announce The Great Brain Ride 2011.
It doesn't get much better than riding out in the heart of North Wales! Combine that with a fun packed day at the famous Ponderosa Cafe and help raise funds for a worthwhile cause. Join us at St Georges Plateau, Liverpool - departing 10.30am on 3rd September 2011 - to help raise awareness and much needed funds for Neurosupport. We'll be riding from St Georges through the city of Liverpool and the fantastic open roads of North Wales to the Ponderosa Cafe on the Horseshoe Pass (A542), via the Petrolheads Cafe Milk Bar in Bagillt (A54.
A maximum of 800 bikes will be allowed to start at St Georges so if you would like to be there, please click on the link below to register and be sure of a place. For more information and to register, contact Alec Hughes on 0151 298 3283, alec@neurosupport.org.uk If you can't register, for whatever reason then why don't you meet up with us at the Ponderosa Cafe on the A542 (Horseshoe Pass), near Llangollen. For those of you who don't know, the Ponderosa Cafe is a famous motorcycle meeting place, offering superb cafeteria and dining facilities (as well as a gift shop), a huge FREE parking area and is surrounded by stunning scenery. For more information and directions: http://ponderosa.jigsy.com As mentioned, we are delighted to announce that we will be stopping off at the Petrolheads Cafe/Milk Bar in Bagillt, on the A548, opposite the LyonsDen fitness Studio. With its 60's retro feel, Petrolheads is definitely the first choice for bike lovers of all ages. Come along for a nice cuppa, a fantastic brekkie, a snack or a delicious hot meal, served to you by probably the friendliest staff you will ever meet. There is loads of free parking available, so if you can't get to Liverpool for the start of the ride, then make sure you don't miss us at this great biker haunt. Facebook: Petrolheads Cafe Bikers For Neurosupport is a voluntary group dedicated to providing much needed support to Neurosupport. The group is made up of bike enthusiasts from around the region and we would welcome any new members who have a passion for bikes and for helping a charity that directly supports US, the bikers. Find us on Facebook Donate at www.justgiving.com/neurosupport The Bikers For Neurosupport organising team, Merseyside and North Wales Police and the local authorities cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury caused to either individuals or bikes, on the way to, during, or on the way home from The Great Brain Ride event.
