Hahaha, you had one card and you played it too early.

Honda, even Ducati had to go back to a double sided swingarm for racing. Double is better for everything apart from endurance and showing off.

Simple test is if its rusty or not...

Assuming its the same (which as far as I can see it is) as mine you turn the key in the lock to the left under the seat then pull the lever behind it straight down. The seat then lifts up and back.

Update:

- Brakes sorted thanks to ian helping me out, and general problem solving.
- Bike now stripped abit more than the photo.

problems:
- rad fubar but i have sussed replacement already
- temp sender works when earthed but somthing is still a miss so need investigating, im feeling thermostat may be duf aswell. although the radiator is leeking so this probly isnt helping my problem.

everything else seems sound just needs alot of tlc and paint.

Those down pipes look original

Not unheard of for the water pump to go, test is to pop the cap off and rev it, you should see the level fall and rise. If you just get vibration ripples chances are the pump is shot.

Dam just as i though.
bottom leak i feel/ think.

ive got another one its just i have the chance to send it back as one of the radiator fan brackets is broken. although the people who are going to pray it up for me can swap em over as the other rad has all brackets nicely intact.

I've had good results on fixing leaks with plastic padding stop-leak, doesn't work too well on fins but works a treat on the sides. Not pretty but effective.

If you have access to one you could tig it. http://www.pvdwiki.com/index.php?tit...adiator_Repair
