Oooh clio 182? I keep looking at getting another but it's hard to find a decent one near-by at a dealer. Good results! Was that the 3M kit?

A work trip to Newmarket today. See pic of the day for more photos. I.arrived early so went to watch the 10am string do the gallops. Then a visit to the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art. Shown around by the museum director, MCC have loaned them a painting.

Well worth a visit if you are anywhere near Newmarket. Met the horses, saw the paintings which are of racing but also other sports, including a photographic exhibition by a friend. I learned about the biomechanics of equines and the history of racing and sampled the local gin. Delicious fish and chips then a nice drive home in the car through all the back roads of Suffolk and Essex. This was work remember!

I really should be selling it after having to buy a van but my van only has two seats and we have four kids- good enough reason to keep it! I also searched for ages to find such a clean low mileage one with both cup packs

Default Smile of the day - What is yours?

My smile today will be watching those faces in the office that in the winter look at me with pity and a little smugness when I arrive in bike gear cold and wet.

They will ask me "Aren't you hot in that?"
I will point out multiple vents on the jacket and helmet. I will highlight the flow of warm air over me as I pass the queues of cars.

I'll give them pity and smugness.

Sailing past a 2 mile queue of cars caught up in roadworks south of Norwich. See my gripe.
