Default What undertray

I have a black undertray on my SV, thats basicly in naff. Never fitted properly and required rather alot of work to get it on. So I would like to replace it and as such I would like a to have much easier job this time. So if you could just give me some scores then that would be a great help, something like this.

Maker: unknown.
Fitting: 4 out of 10
Look: 6
finnish: 7
colour match: N/A (its a black base coat)
Price: £60
Instructions 4 (badly photo-copied fuzzy photo)
Notes: Had to cut alot the tray to get it to fit on the bike!

Cheers.

I've got a gap by mine which has let dirt onto the rear bulbs and inside of the lense does this seem to do the same?

Its never caused a problem, its a matter of mm... can probably be sorted by tightening it up but i've not had an excuse to take the rear apart yet

I got a Suzy OEM one too. They pop up on Ebay nice and cheap from BANBURY MOTORCYCLE CENTRE

Maker: Suzuki
Fitting: 9/10
Look: 8/10
Finish: 10/10
Colour match: 10/10
Price: £70
Instructions: 10/10

I only had to file one hole near the rear to get the screw lined up. Mine has a strip of rubber near the rear light that seals the gap. The only thing I dont like is that you keep the original numberplate light. So you still have an ugly piece of black plastic attached. I'll sort this soonish though.....

Just fitted an Ermax one with built in LED indicators last weekend - seems good so far..

Maker: Ermax
Fitting: 6/10 (have to cut old undertray at battery compartment and create homes for fuse box, ECU etc. as nothing there to help.
Look: 9/10
Finish: 10/10
Colour match: 10/10
Price: £145ish (got it cheaper from ebay)
Instructions: 4/10 (basically "take off old one and put on new one")

Took about 2 hours to fit and looks excellent - love the indicators and looks great with a 7x5 plate. Pics shortly....

Another Suzuki OEM hre... In fact I've got two, one which proved unequal to the task of surviving an SV Ecosse rideout and a new one which'll go on when I do my respray.#

Fitting 10/10, just bolted right on.
Look 6/10. tidy fit which is nice but the uneven surface looks a bit odd
Finish: 8/10, basically the same as the stock paint. but the fasteners and metal parts rust like nobody's business
Colour match: 10/10, see above
Price £110 for the first one, £70 for the new one
Instructions: 9/10, could have been a wee bit clearer in places but otherwise very good.

Only downer is the plastic has very little flex in it before it breaks, which is what happened to mine- the battery got bounced up and down too hard and broke both mounting bolts at the front. So I'd say get some rubber washers on the bolts, bit of foam under the battery... I might do a bit o beefing up on the new one before I fit it with bigger washers. Still, I think almost any iundertray would have been damaged.
