After you spoke of your obsession to me a couple of years ago I decided it had to be on me route home, I definitely was not disappointed! And my topbox proudly sports the sticker to prove it

The road down the ferry is full of twisty blind turns with dodgy gravel strewn about in places but so worth it. And keep your eyes peeled for Victor, the local white tailed sea eagle, he fishes in the bay at Kylerhea

Yay!!!

I've never seen Victor on my travels but I'll certainly keep my eye out for him, shouldn't be hard to spot its not as if he's the size of a sparrow.

BTW, there are 2 free bunks at Durness on the Thursday night if anyone is interested in tagging along, lots of miles and smiles there and back down to the GM on the Friday.

wont be drinking and more than likely early bed, its the ride there and down thats the important part.

ride pace will be moderate but plenty of stops.
