Wanted sv650

Evening all,

I'm in the market for an SV650. I have a budget of about £1,500 to spend on one. What can i expect to get for that sort of money? Age, mileage etc.

Anyone from here know of any for sale? I'm in Manchester but can travel to view/purchase.

Morning and welcome. You should be able to get a decent, clean mk1 for that sort of money easily enough. There did seem to be quite a few reasonably priced ones around a while back. As spring approaches typically prices seem to be creeping up a bit.

Theres this one on ebay which caught my eye yesterday. I think its a tad over priced but it does look clean and has service history and a few extras etc. Not a million miles away from you either. Might be worth a viewing and a cheeky bid?

Re-assuring to know there are people out there happy to give advice.

Is there anything i need to be looking at when viewing potential bikes. A mate of mine who had an SV last year tells me to check the front forks and check for usual signs of corosion.
