Looks like I may be able to take a prism from an SRT202/303 as a substitute for the XE1. It's a pain as neither are particularly cheap.

Postie brought me some goodies. I'm sure sixteen year old film will be fine.

I've got a couple of rolls of a similar vintage on the go now.
I'm kicking myself for throwing away a few rolls of 20 year old Konica when I first started to organise my old camera gear

Got to love hindsight! Not much doing, trying and failing to keep off ebay, looking for spare parts for various jobs.

I was given a roll of expired Kodak Gold I think it is, I'll bung it to you sometime when I next post something Kenzie. I sold the last one for a fiver on t'bay, plus postage, but I can't be bothered with this one!

Very kind of you JR. Kodak Gold isn't half bad. Is it 200 or 400? I'm still on the hunt for a broken OM1, need to fix the power switch. Bought one from a guy online but so far it hasn't shown and getting no response from them. Got a bid on a Minolta 50mm f1.7, hoping it will go cheap as its got fungus. I've got the elements to swap out so it might be a good deal.

Found a company that do resilvering for scientific equipment as well as photography. Prices are about £10-£20 but I am waiting for them to come back to me as I only need one surface recoated. If it works out reasonable price then I'll get both of the XE prisms done.

Oops, finished off a roll of expired Konica Centuria today in my Lomo LC-A, unloaded it and realised that I had shot it at 400 iso. Hopefully it won't come out under exposed as I should have shot it at 100 instead. Tried out my TZ6 as well, but while wiping some grime off the lens I noticed it has some nice star shaped fungus. So I'm going to dive into stripping and cleaning it.
