D'oh! I fell over...
You know that fluid motion you work at for years, you stop, flick off the ignition, flick the stand out with the heel of your left boot while you tilt the bike to the left at the same time?
Well today the boot flick didn't catch the stand, my well choreographed move went wrong and the bike ended up on it's left side on top of me... It was a petrol station so I kept the helmet on and ear plugs in, to shut out the laughter, that is all... |

Re: D'oh! I fell over...
Bummer.
I did this outside a bar on a warm summers evening. 6 feet from a whole bar of people on a balcony with a beer. Bugger. |

Re: D'oh! I fell over...
I can beat that. Yesterday I fell off my pusbike right by a bus stop full of spotty teenagers waiting to get the bus to work. They laughed, I swore.

Re: D'oh! I fell over...
This is all very reassuring indeed. I'm pleased no-one is truly embarrassed so much to not mention their 'moments'
--- My clock currently says 99 miles since saturday and I've (so far) avoided anything daft / unplanned (apart from this morning when I kicked the stand down and thought......why's that stalled...?). Turns out in the manual it says...... Continue with the You've Been Framed-type incidents please. |
