Default Custom made leathers

Quick question, when measuring yourself for a new set, do you wear the items you would normally wear when riding such as the back protector?

Getting me a swanky new suit to.. well.. suit the new bike

I would have thought so.
If you don't mind me asking, where are you getting them from?
I need to get me a set. I want to do some track days this year and I've only got textiles.
6'5" and only 13 stone, I don't stand a chance of getting off the peg leathers

I'd do it in a pm or you may find various .orgers posing as assistants, waving measuring tapes scrambling over to you when you walk in.

When I had leathers custom made to fit my gangly frame, the nice people at the company measured me. I would have a strong preference for being measured by them so there are no disagreements if things do no fit perfectly later on.

That would be ideal but unfortunately they're in Billingshurst, however if there's a problem they will make adjustments to suit, so it's not the end of the world...

paiste1: the suit is from these guys:

http://www.bikesuits.com/leathers

the folks on the triumph forum were doing a group buy but it's now closed, i'll post a mini-review of the suit when i get it, but by all accounts they're top notch kit
