Default Flyscreen fitment problem

Greetings all. After owning my pointy naked sv650 for 14 years I decided that it was time to add a fly screen. The one I bought, by Puig, is awful quality but the shape of the moulding is perfect. Anyway, I bought it as a universal fit screen and it isn't obvious to me how I'm supposed to fit it so I'm hoping some of you can give me some advise. The main metal brackets are supposed to be held in place by the headlamp bolts, but I have to shoehorn them in place in such a way that it looks a proper bodge. The bolts aren't really long enough to cope with it either. Also, there are no further location points, so it doesn't seem very secure. Has anyone experienced similar problems?

Like Mav, I can't help here as I'm a Curvy S owner, but a welcome from me too.

I'm sure someone with the necessary knowledge will be along in due course.

I fitted PUIG and have no issues with the Quality.Yes they are cheap but are great for the price and do a great job for their size.

I added a couple of self tappers to secure the Screen from moving @ high speed.

Thanks for the replies so far (and the welcomes).
R1ffR4ff - perhaps I was a bit over the top describing the quality as awful, but the edge is trimmed badly in a couple of places and the solid black colour shows up all the imperfections in the moulding.
Adding some photos is a good idea. I'll post them at the weekend when I can see the bike in the daytime.

I had a similar screen to RR on my blue Curvy, Skidmarx one in my case - only held on by the two bolts on the headlight mounting. Never had a problem with it moving but I had it almost as low as it would go in any case. Had to get slightly longer bolts as I recall.

Might still be knocking about the garage now I think more...
