Kwak, when viewing the map press the following key combination...
Left ALT +Left SHIFT + Print Screen. On the dialog that pops up, press Cancel (to disable the setting). Windows High Contrast settings. |

Re: question for the computer experts
Check the display properties for colour depth (32bit will be the best bet, even for testing purposes only).
I'll put my thinking cap on just in case it's not that... Of course, there is the easy way of using a Windows Restore point (if in Vista, or a prudent XP user). EDIT: I can't remember how for the life of me, but IIRC, you can change the background colour of the map in AutoRoute, that might help... Still thinking... Re: question for the computer experts
No problem matey. I'll put that thinking cap away now... starting to hurt me head.
EDIT: Remember to tell your folks that if they do the same key short cut, and press OK (instead of Cancel), it will restore their high contrast settings as they were previously. So best of both worlds, your mum can see easily (don't know just how bad her sight is) and your dad gets his maps in colour. Last edited by Baph; 04-06-08 at 08:59 PM. |
