Sheffield Speedway.

Been going for two weeks now and its a great night out. Not really cheap at £12 but not bad to be fair. Some damn good racing.

They are at home next Thursday (22nd) so if you can make it down let me know and I may see you there. 7.45PM is when the racing starts, free parking for bikes so come on them if you can.

theres only one team, and thats belle vue. all the greats have proudly worn the vest. unfortunatly not going particularly well at the mo, such a promising start aswell.
the sport needs supporting defo to keep it going so good on ya. about the same admission at belle vue and its really good value. family night out on monday race night, could never afford to do that at old trafford (not that i ever wanted).
riders have respect for one another, its extremely honest aswell, compared to football it is, a breath of fresh air. and no seggregation, you can have a good chat to the away fans, top night out.
i recommend everyone to go to the nearest track and then tell me it wasn't worth it, i guess i won't hear from anyone.

I work for Pirtek who used to sponser the tigers until last year i think. We used to get free VIP tickets for every race. What a night. Just a pig getting back from Sheffield to Preston after all that free beer.

Dukes at Bradford was really good and quite reasonable until the rugby mob got a hold of everything and kicked them out of there despite the fact that it put a lot of money in there when the rugby season was not on....

Typical.

Like Owlerton though - damn good time at the dog races there too

Indeed but it seems to work well

Its is a great sport it really is.

Sometimes take the kids from School to Sheffield Speedway... Then again, I've always loved Speedway; Hull Vikings were my team (& hopefully will be again!!!)

They were there a couple of weeks ago they got beat but it was pretty close with some good racing. LOTS of crashes cos it was so dry... even after the track being watered all day.
