Default When Will The Itching Stop?

I have been repacking an exhaust for the first time tonight with some chopped glass strand. I had gloves on and my overalls on but alas some got on to my forearms. And my does it itch. How long will this last for?!? Is there a cure?

No cure, calamine lotion might help.

Its the tiny glass strands that are poking into you skin that's causing the irritation

There is nothing you can do to avoid this ****. People say a soaking hot bath helps but I found it did nothing for me.

Just wait it out you big pansy.

I'm usually ok by the next day.

You could always try scraping them off by running the edge of a credit card over your arms.

What I always do is put my arms (or other affected area) under a cold shower head, the running water washes the fibres off and cools the skin.
