when the UK is on BST is most of Europe 1 hour ahead?

so you have to put your watch forward an hour when your on the ferry?

when looking at departure/arrival times do they include the +1hr, for instance newcastle to amsterdam is depart newcastle at 17:00 arrive amsterdam at 09:30.

Yep. Your sat naz may or may not change itself, your phone also. Your sat nav will probably also change to KPH. Clever little blitters.

All times quoted by ferries, planes , etc will be in local time to the point of departure/arrival.

and just as additional information, when the UK isn't on BST, most of Europe is still just one hour ahead - cos they all change at the same time.
