I am looking for a left hand side lower fairing bracket for a K6, it is the J looking one. I can't seem to find oue anywhere. Can anyone point me in the direction of where you can buy them from?
Thanks |

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
you cant, you have to buy the whole kit. a way around it is to buy some R&G crash bungs.

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
neither is the fitting kit. the J brackets are like rocking horse poo and usually the only time you get them is when people are selling the lower fairings but they sell the brackets with the fairings.
is one missing due to you braking/bending it? |

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
I slid the bike after avoiding a car my side of the road. So the J bracket snapped next to the weld

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
if you still have the two halves then just take it to your local welder and ask him to weld it up again.

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
I spoke to a welder, doubted it would really hold. I've got an engineer at work trying to fix it so it can be re-used. I will probably get the R&G crash bungs

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
its not that structural and even a few tacks would do. they are only a stay/bracket

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
It bent out of shape so I would have to put it on and then knock it back where it belongs, welder reckons it probably wouldn't hold!

Re: Lower Fairing Bracket
Hi mate, I've just fitted R&G crash bungs to my SV so have a spare bracket lying around. Feel free to PM me if interested.
