Default 1st service

my bikes booked in for it's first service on the 1st of september.trouble is ive done 650 miles now and planning a trip the weekend that will put a couple of hundred miles on the clock. So will this do any harm? Or am i better of knocking the trip on the head till after the service?

Cheers ben.

Nah you'll be OK. If you're seriously worried go to your dealer, explain the situation to the service manager, buy the oil and genuine filter and do the change yourself. Then when they do the first service make sure they know not to do the oil and filter again. MOST dealers will be happy with this. (You'll need to buy the Suzuki oil filter tool to get the filter off and on again, and you'll need a new crush washer for the sump plug)-happy spannering
