E-Missions Impossible
Ordered most of my mods for when i can fit them, but the exhaust really has me stumped.
I'm pretty set on a Yoshimura(after seeing Nicks and my ears actually hurting as i followed him in a tunnel)....but the one i was looking back is going to set me back £500. So wheres the best place to order a yoshi from then? Also can someone explain what makes an exhaust specific to a particular make/model of bike? Could i not just buy a yoshi off ebay advertised for another bike and then get a different link pipe? Please say yes as it will be half the price! |

Re: E-Missions Impossible
yes........... but you may need to modify the bracket & the link pipe may be at a differant angle so it too will need playing with

Re: E-Missions Impossible
If you get a regular slip on with a diameter of about 52mm I think and a regular K, whatever you have, link pipe then it will fit OK.
If you are thinking of getting a carbon one I would do a bit of research. I have a carbon Scorpion and opted for the Scorpion because they put a ceramic inner in to reduce the risk of damaging the carbon due to heat and pressure that a twin can cause (allegedly). The carbon Scorpion has a lifetime guarantee and everybody else I looked at only gave a 12 month guarantee on the carbon cans even though the stainless was a lifetime guarantee. This started the alarm bells ringing for me. I think the Scorpion sounds lovely but I have found that people seem to like other sounds for other reasons. A Fuel can also sounds nice but, I wanted carbon so a Scorpion it had to be. If you haven't heard a Scorpion or want to have a look at one fitted let me know and we can meet up sometime. |

Re: E-Missions Impossible
**** it i've ordered it anyway. No point in spending half the cash on another exhaust then wishing i got the one i really wanted.
That shoud allow the R6 to sufficiently out-sex the ninja. |
