Default Garage!!

Hi,

You may or may not remember that I live in Leicester, but there is no where to keep my bike, so it stays at home... However, recent news: the council offered me a garage to rent! Woo! It's only about 1.6 miles away but still, a garage!

I should (hopefully) have my bike here within a week.

Which means you lovely people might see a red SV (see my photos on profile) around and about.

Look forward to meeting up at some various points over the summer too.

All I need now is a job. Four months off until uni begins again!

Thanks for reading the most part of this ;p

Nice one, make sure you fit a ground anchor and extra security on the door......a garage may mean something to the insurers in leicester but not the thiefs.

Leicester was in the top ten for bike thefts in the uk

Are ground anchors easy to install?

And the garage is in a secured carpark as well which is good. I've also got alarm/immob, disc lock, two heavy chains and an awesome U-lock -but non of that actually secures the bike in the garage, so yeah I'll definitely look into getting an anchor.

Thanks guys

Yes, ground anchor is easy to install, but not so easy to take with you if you move, usually allen bolts with steel ball bearings which hammer into the bit where you allen key should go once installed, makes it difficult to remove.
