The seat problem is caused by the fashion for the rear subframe to be sharply angled up.
Doesn't have to be like that, compare the Z900 with the Z900RS Suzuki need to do a proper job on an SV retro with a lowered rear and a flatter seat as per the Z900RS. Proper mudguards would be nice too. |

Yep, you could easily add material to the front part of the seat to make a bigger flat section.
