Default Norton

I like the overall lines of the bike except for the exhaust, it looks like they gave up designing, found an old one in the bin and said: "'ere, this'll do."

Other than that, it's a limited run from an expensive bike manufacturer so I'm guessing it's going to be more expensive than a used SV. If it was mine, every time I saw it I would get a mental picture of Henry Cole in his flat cap which would take the edge off my enthusiasm.

Looks to me like a classic cruiser style tank with a classic sporty style seat and a classic standard style frame. I like the exhaust but it's too modern and doesn't fit the one thing that ties the rest together.

Given all that, I don't dislike it. It's just odd.

Yeah, I saw the program where Henry Cole and some buddies designed it for Norton but can't remember if the exhaust is the same.

I had the fortune of test riding a 1200 thruxton R when I took my tiger in for a service a while back, that 1200 engine is amazing fun on a cafe racer style bike! Would never get old!

Thruxton R would be my choice of parallel twin too. Look and sound fab. That Norton looks too much like an old fashioned bitsa to me. I always thought Triumph had a much better eye for style, both the old and the new version of the company. Some of their bikes were, and are, works of art on two wheels.

If it's parallel twins we are talking about, it's got to be a Nuda 900R for me
