M4 db level?
Hi,
I have a full M4 system on my curvy, just wondered if anyone else has the same system and what the db reading was? Cheers, Dave |

Re: M4 db level?
Yorkie Chris has one on.
Levels- well... we heard him from 3 miles away. Get a Baffle if your racing

Re: M4 db level?
I had the full system on my K2 (sometime ago now), think when repacked it was 103 at a trackday, with Baffle in 99, the track was 102 limit, if I remember right, anyway unbaffled it was just outside the allowable range.

Re: M4 db level?
Cheers fellas, as it's not just a slip on can there's not a lot I can do about it if I turn up and it's over the limit. Not like I can take a standard can and swap it over. Think the M4 link pipe is wider that the standard pipe.

Re: M4 db level?
yeah the pipework opens up just after the block, you can drill a small hole in the tail pipe at the bottom and fit an aftermarket DB killer (about £10 off ebay), that should get you through, better than wasting the cost of the day anyway.
