[quote="El Boccadillo"]If you want to base it on/near Skipton, I'll be pleased to pull something together for everyone....I live there after all!

But the ideas are a bit disparate at the moment so:
1. Who's bringing wives? Yes
2. Who's bringing kids? No
3. Who wants to meet evening/stay over?No
4. Who just wants a daytime meet?Yes
5. Most importantly: do you want it before the end of summer or in the Autumn/Winter?Autumn

When I've got a sort of concensus (won't please everyone, but we'll try for most!!), I'll fix it. Cheers thanks for the effort :P

Great idea.

Day time meet around late September would be good.

Wife can drive there with 'Dan the Man'(our 4 year old), and I can go on the bike.

At the moment, because of other commitments I have, I am working on a "family" day for Sunday 18th September. Those that want to ride over, can. Those who want to bring wives, can. Those who want to drive over by car with the kids, can. Something for all is the objective.

I think there might then be "room" for a weekend jobby in late October - a sort of last blast before the arctic chill. That would be based on those who want it having a Saturday evening bash, then meeting up with others for a Sunday morning "breakfast" run. That would be a "bikes" do, and it feels sort of Pubby/bunk barn-y/camping-ish.

Away this weekend but should firm things up Monday/Tuesday.
