I'm officially an old git next year, I've got an elbow that doesn't work as well as it used to (years of playing badminton badly), and the thirty year olds at work are a bit young for me to ask out.

Growing old is definitely cr*p, but it's better than the alternative.

Drinking on a school night makes me feel old! Boy do I feel old this morning. Damn that German beer stall at the Christmas market!

Christ I remember them and I am only 21!!

Going out boozing with 18/19 y/o's. They just don't feel it the next day like I do!

I left home at 17, got a job, lived on my own, blah blah... Still not mature or responsible

I was going to say looking in the mirror,but actually looking at photos from my past really shows what the years do.

I had to train up the apprentice at work. Realised I was nearly old enough to be his father. Then he started talking about films he watched when he was a kid. Like Anchorman!!

FNG's that are younger than my driving Licence.

Gray Hair is now a natural look...

and grabbing a teenage punk who's kicking the living **** out of someone else their younger, is frowned upon :0(

Realising I have no grandparents left, and that there are two children out there who know me as grandad.

Having a child 7 years older than the highly experienced mechanic I employed.

Knowing my eldest daughter owns her own home outright.

Looking at my 6' 2" tall son and remembering when he used to stand on my hand above my head.

Visiting my mum in a care home.

There's a few more, but I don't let them get me down as such because I don't feel old inside, I still feel 25.

Good to know they were around for longer than I thought.

and for me that is good and bad:

- After working a night shift I feel about 100
