I think you can get a mod to change your name. Furry Ginger One is now FG1. Metal Monkey used to be called something else.

We were going to ask the mods to change Chris8886 to Slackfart after TOGMIE but then I had to promise not to tease him for the whole of September so I've not been able to request it.
