Bike dead (almost)
Poor Herman died
I got a '99 SV650S, and i think its front spark plug + water syndrome. Rode to london from bristol in the snow yesterday (yes im crazy). Stopped at westfield shopping centre in london to pick up house keys from my gf, come back to bike and it wont start. Had to limp to westminster on the bike at 15mph. Im hoping i didnt do serious damage to the engine. Managed to get the bike started (took ages), and i thought it was carb icing. I had a moment and thought about water in spark plug. Got a can of WD-40 in my bag (never leave home without one) and wondering where on the HT lead and spark plug to use it? If the spark plug is wet, do i spray some on the spark plug electrode itself? Any and all advice appreciated! |

Re: Bike dead (almost)
WD40+ Sraw up the little hole on the front cylinder
the hole is situated on the right of the bike if you sit on it |
