Default OMO! - What did I download?

Yesterday I was checking my emails and had an assortment of the usual spam and phishing emails.

Problem is as i was moving the mouse to the Delete button I hit my coffee cup with the mouse and it opened the zip attachment of one of the emails. Windows came up, things happened and then a blank page was left. The Virus checker says nothing wrong, but how can I make sure nothing insidious was downloaded?

If it helps, the file was called GB0041616.zip. from (allegedly) gateway.confirmation@gateway.gov.uk

+1 for malware bytes, also don't freak out if it says 12 problems or so, it reports every tiny detail including some tracking cookies that it has a dislike for. Let it clean any problems and job is done.

Run rkill before you run Malwarebytes, it'll look for the known malware processes that allow malware to remain hidden to anti malware and virus software. Once you've run it and it's killed any processes it finds then run Malwarebytes. Do not restart your pc in between running rkill and Malwarebytes.
