BBC's The One Show 11/04/2013 - Speeding Bikers

To be fair they've picked on a power ranger area on a sunny day with loads of power rangers.
Get caught there by the (well known) unmarked sneaky f*ckers and you probably deserve it!

at least the copper started his interview with the word 'minority'

had the BBC had any interest in being balanced they would have finished that article with 'at least a dozen bikers are stopped each time the police are out, but they estimate there are xyz hundred bikers out on these roads each sunny Sunday, so it's less than 1% of riders causing a real issue'

What do you expect for a show targeting the Daily Mail readership

I'd bet if you cornered that police biker over a few pints he'd probably admit to a few indiscretions in his past, if not in his current riding. I'm damn sure he didn't jump straight on a 1300cc bike and feel comfortable chasing people along country roads.

given its probably the second time i've ever watched it (only as a result of this thread) i didn't expect anything in particular

what have my expectations got to do with the bias in the programme?

on a straight road you can't push anything to the limit (except possibly the tendons in your wrist)

You've got the context wrong, its not aimed at you in particular, but the expectations of the type of person who watches this show
