btw just because you dont watch BBC does not mean that you dont need a tv licence. the tv licence is so you can receive a signal to your tv digital paid or otherwise. its basically if you have a tv that has any kind of receiver built in (this includes apps like bbc iplayer) then you need a licence. if everyone paid their licence fee the bbc would be a lot better.
You need a TV license if you watch live TV. If you have a TV but do not use it for live content you do not need a TV license.

BBC is spending loads of money ticking diversity boxes and being left wing. Their festive offering was very skimpy - the flagship being strictly come dancing LOL They are the purveyor of repeats, the home of spin, the Biased Broadcasting Company. They have become bloated and full of themselves and no longer broadcast news you can trust or programs their licence payers want to watch.

This is True, I believe they snuck in watching 'non-live' productions via iplayer in recent years too. If you watch live over the internet via 4OD , ITV etc. (i.e. not bbc) you need a licence too I think. It also includes radio, I've always had a 10gb media player in my car and have CD's at home but currently trialling Spottyfly.

Don't respond to the above warning re. licencing .
Kind regards HiJack police

Threads on pretty much every forum meander a bit, which is good...

Netflix i watch more of than Prime, but Netflix also has a smaller selection than prime. If you look through all the categories, nigh on 50% of them are the same film . . . .
I prefer the Netflix interface and usability vs Prime too.

Prime's interface is basic at best, and as Bibio pointed out there is a lot of stuff on there not included in your cost - you can filter these out which are subscription or rental based. Interface is not as slick, IMO, and it can be a bit glitchy too.
Although Prime video is 'free' for me as i only pay for it to get the better delivery from Amazon. Don't forget you also get access to Prime Music, Audible & e-books too. So it is a better spread across multiple channels if you want some variation/combine media to one supplier.
