Default Advice for cleaning off/preventing rust

Has anyone got any recomendations of a cleaner or product that removes mild rust?

and is there anything that will help prevent rust build up on the lower part of the exhaust?

I use Muck Off to give it a rinse but the lot here don't like it. But I love it and the bike is very clean.

Do you mean the exhaust headers, the first bit after the pipes come out of the engine ?

If so, its not rust its burnt on dirt and road grime, and the only way you're going to get that off is as said with alot of elbow grease.

Personally I woudlnt bother as its hard to keep it that way. As as soon as it rains you'll get crud over it all again.
