Advice for cleaning off/preventing rust
Has anyone got any recomendations of a cleaner or product that removes mild rust?
and is there anything that will help prevent rust build up on the lower part of the exhaust? |

the exhaust should be stainless steel so wont have rust!! ut a god clean with some fine sand paper and polish with Autosol will see it right

they've got an offer on in Halfords on Elbow Grease at the moment.
Think its buy on get one free! thanks for the advice! tommorow afternoon will be spent cleaning her up! |

I use Muck Off to give it a rinse but the lot here don't like it. But I love it and the bike is very clean.

yeah thats the part i mean, ill clean it up to get the muck off, then will try and prevent it getting bad by cleaning it often!

hehe i too had those lofty aspirations when i first got the bike. % yrs later and my downpipes are as minging as the next blokes. Even worse for me cos mines a naked and you see more of it but hey ho
