When Mr LPH got knocked off the solicitor said we could claim for me having to do chores like vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, laundry, ironing, dusting. I asked if this was just for the week he was laid up or the previous ten years we'd been married?

That would have been nice isn't!!

Question though, did they asked for proof of the damaged equipment like helmet, gives, etc?

They did. Being a photographer helped here as I was able to take pictures of all the damaged items and his injuries at decent quality.

His contractor did a letter saying he'd had a week off work and hadn't been paid as he's self employed.

We got Hein Gericke to confirm cost of replacing his clothing, helmet etc on letterhead as an orger at the time worked there.

Well the question is that the helmet has no mark. But obviously after an accident it is safer to replace - not sure how they are going to take that...

Stuart's head smashed the passenger door window but showed no marks. There is plenty of written evidence that after any accident a helmet should be replaced so it shouldn't be an issue.
