Default Please tell me I've made the right decision...!

Just put a large dent into my credit card, and bought a Sv650sport K8!

The restriction has just come off my licence, and I couldn't resist upgrading from my CBF250.

I know that people have got nothing but praise for the bike, but is it that good....?

No sorry you made the wrong choice. You will have far too much fun IMO.

You damn well should anyway!

A lot depends on what type of rider you are, what you rode in the past and what you want from the bike.

If you have ridden a 250 then why not...it will be an improvement.

Whether it is the best bike for the money depends on what floats ya boat.

In terms of reliability then it is pretty much sorted.

Thanks for the reassurance!!
Initially, I was going to buy a hornet, then I toyed with the idea of BMW F800. But the reviews of the SV are so positive. People seem so passionate about the bike...

The ?400 quid deal that Suzuki are offering swung it for me....

Im in the same sort of position, i've had one two weeks after a 2 year gap from my RS125. I love it so far, so much more practical, nice bike.

A lot quicker too, i'm half way through running it in, so can only go to 8250rpm now, but that seems quick enough already.

It is a great bike and a good choice up from a 250. There are plenty of mods you can do for it and it is a great price for a lovely engine. Enjoy and welcome
