Default update on my insurance claim

my solicitor has been wanting me to accept a 50/50 settlement now for sometime due to no whitenesses, its been over 6 months now and i'm fed up with it so ive told him as much as this pains me i will accept the offer
there is no justice in this world and there are lots of people willing to lie out there! all i can say is if you do have a bump and it's not your fault grab a whiteness it makes all the difference.

I hate everything about insurance claims at the mo and mine sounds like it is going a lot better than yours so i sympathise. Sometimes I find you just end up so annoyed by it you just shrug your shoulders and accept the crud results

Tbh if that was my solicitor I would have fired them and got someone else.

No witnesses does not always mean 50/50. Sometimes sheer bloody mindedness is whats needed - something I have in droves But I understand it does wear you down after a while

Sometimes you just have to deal with practicalities... Could be that the solicitor's just going for the easy way out, but equally he could just be doing the sensible thing and trying to avoid an unwinnable battle. It does stink, though.
