Default Rear brake return spring?

I noticed the other day that the return spring is missing from my rear brake pedal on my Pointy SV (Pretty sure it has been the whole time I've owned it).

I have found the following parts numbers for it:
  • 09443-17024
  • 09443-13031
  • 09443-13035
Anybody know the difference between these and thus which I ought to get?
Cheers

J

Don't think mine ever had one... There is a suggestive hole that looks like it needs a spring but I'm sure it's never existed.

Mind you, I'm on the back side of a caffeine and chocolate rush so I could be making this up.

It's possible the spring has different part numbers for "S" and "N" models as the footpeg hangers are different, and so I suspect the spring could be too.

I'd find a microfiche for your year, and inclusion or not of a fairing and press the button. Or phone up someone like robinsons foundry they have a good track record for sending the correct part quickly.

If your bike is a naked Pointy, there never was a spring fitted.

It looks as though 09443-13035 is for SV650 N & S K4 on, and some SV1000, whereas the other two are for the K3 model and by the looks of it depending on whether it's a naked or S on which spring

Oh, cheers Sid...how peculiar though. Any idea why that was the case?

According to the official Suzuki service manual for the K3 there is a spring from the frame to the brake pedal Master Hydraulic Cylinder. I have one on my K3 pointy. See the attached:
