Curvy speedo not working.

Right, long story short - Been using mum's curvy as a winter hack, speedo died, stripped it and was greeted by what's pictured below

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's the rotor that's shot, so is it just a case of sourcing a new one and fitting, or is there a bit more to it? I've found one for £30 delivered next day here: http://www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/co...50xspeedo2.htm

Wanted to double check with some friendly orgers that I was going about it the right way as I need the bike back up ASAP for work and to visit a friend at the weekend!

Yep, looks like you need a new rotor to me.

Yeah rotor. Make sure you get one specifically for a curvy. Pointy ones do work, but make your speedo read exactly twice as much. And that's how my sv went past 150 and all the way back round to 0 haha.

They're usually about £20

Thanks guys, got the one from the OP link and it is definitely for a curvy, cost £21 and £9 for next day delivery which I didn't think was too shabby and a lot better than £130ish for a whole new sensor assembly! Now just got to hope it arrives on time
