...no new SV for next year, you'll have to wait til 2008
 Or at least I think that's what he said, as he had a very strong Japanese accent... And of course he could have been spinning me a line to hide their secret plans to build a v-twin rocketship for '07... (I like that explanation better!!) |

New design. It was touted that the K7 would be it, but obviously it's been put back for the K8.

I guess they found the threat from the ER6 and co never materialised to the extent that was expected and that the SV held its ground on the sales figures.

That was what I heard, that the current pointy was only euro 2 compliant. Whereas it needs to be euro 3 but that would mean a bit less power in current engine size.

It's been pretty reliably reported that the Vstrom 650's getting a twin-spark head... Pretty odd to put that in one model and not the other.
