Cleaned my chain and sproket !

my chain started getting rusty so i cleaned my chain and sprocket with a wire brush, some wire wool, some auto sole, some wd 40 and some de greaser.

This is how it came out:

You think thats good, Mr Speirs got all racial on my chain the other week and using it as an example of how crap his looked, I was not in the least bit impressed, that was short lived though, as, after a bit of parrfin, a toothbrush and 5 mins of my time, after 10 months of ownership, I found out for the first time that I had a gold chain on my bike

haha, i started cleaning in the other day as well. But when i first cleaned it i didnt know it was a chain thought it was belt driven thats how thick the sludge was hahah

what did you clean it with chompy, looks like it worked extremely well.

Better get some wire wool and degreaser out then....

thats for the sprocket your need a wire brush for the chain. if you use wire wool on the chain your be there for hours, pulling all the strands out of the gaps
