Default LED bulbs

i got some new gen LED bulbs to see what they were like. not tried them at night yet but they do look better and a bit brighter.

they are completely retro fit and take about 10min to do, top it off they are silly cheep. only negative is that the fans are loud and sounds like the rad fan is constantly on

difference between OEM and LED:

BTW interesting thing about the LED's is that the low and high beams are on at the same time when switched to high beam.

Hmm it'll be interesting to see some night pictures showing the different beams and brightness. I just don't have any faith in cheap LED's. They never seem to last

throw of light. it was scary going to Applecross a few years back in the pitch black. dip beam was not even that good, light beam pattern was great though. the 50w 5000k hids were like riding in daylight. i got a set of retro fit 50w hids tha re supposed to be 5000k but they wernt they were too blue and not that good either.

if the led's dont work out then i'm going back to the 50w hids.

I want to get rid of the horrible yellow dip/main beam too, considered the night racer or what ever they are called.

Bibs what are your led sidelights? I got some but they don't have a bulb type end and almost touch the inside of the headlight. Basically mine look ugly

led side lights are just the cheep'n'nasty bag of 10 for a few £. they are that price as they dont last long and half the ones in the bag are dud, but hey they are cheep and fit.

if you want good side lights get creed.

problem with the high powered incandescent lamps is they dont last long and a lot are chavvy blue in colour.
