Too quiet?
My latest addition to my SV squadron has got a standard exhaust system on it … one thing that drew me to an SV is the sound of a booming V-twin … with a race can I love it!! … with a stock can I just can’t get excited!!!

I do and I think it sounds okay. Real bikers don't need any help
Hmm... I think we have had this discussion before so I might dig the post up later today Cheers Ben |

I agree that they don't sound too great with the standard can, but my biggest gripe has to be the size of the thing!
I have a Beowulf scorched titanium oval due for delivery tomorrow so my problems are almost over... Not sure what the neighbours will think though. |

I do like the sound of the standard silencer. Quite whether I'd sacrifice the "cars can hear me coming" feeling with the race can I have I don't know. I'd like it if when I put a baffle in my can, it would sound as muffled as original as I don't like making a LOT of noise in areas of 'natural beauty' i.e where people complain and rozzers go on cut-down exercises.

I've got no problem with the volume, I just don't like the sound. Put put put. Used to have a CCC can which was barely louder than standard, but sounded really nice, but it was too shiny. The WRP's not quiet, but it sounds lovely- if I could make it quieter without changing the sound I would.

I have the shame of a standard can. It gets very hot and looks ugly, and then there's the noise. Not very manly...The state of my finances prevents me from changing it - any free exhausts gratefully accepted!

I have a blue flame twin port with both bafffles in! I ran it with them out for a month or so but was too loud and made my ears ring! lol Must be sensitive! I like it with the baffles in - sounds nice but not too loud to annoy the neighbours!

Your poll is asking one thing, What you have and your options ask what you would like. So I answered what I have - standard but I want a race can, just can't justify the spend when what I have meets my needs if not my wants.
