Yup, I did it at Oulton a couple of years ago. I took my CB500 & FZR400, noise tested them both & used them both, so no problems with more than 1 machine

I don't think Rockingham even know what a noise test is!

They wrist band checking lady said mine sounded nice, it was measured at 107db at cadwell lol

I'll probably nip along to watch Rockingham on sunday if it's not completely baltic with frost on the ground.

Weather looks good now... Dry all day and hovering around the 6c to 7c temperature with no wind.

I'm meeting speirs at 10:15 at Market harborough McD's then we're heading to rockingham via some nice roads.

Just got back, it was amazing.

Roads were a bit greasy on the way there and the back end stepped out a couple of times so I was getting a bit worried. Then just as the briefing started it began to rain pretty hard.

The first session was really dodgy, no grip at all (as N8te's mate found out). I too had a couple of dodgy moments and even the fast group on race wets were finding it hard.

After the first session the rain stopped and the track began to dry out. I was getting quicker and quicker each session.

A couple of laps before the end of the last session I hit the holy grail and got my knee down on the final hairpin. I was so excited I nearly crashed. Managed to get it down on pretty much ever right hander after that. No tight lefts there really.

The last session of the fast group was a bit of a write off as there was a bad crash so after the last novice session they opened the track for another 15 mins and let anyone on there. I was mixing it with the big boys then and even though I was a lot faster than I was when I started I soon realised I still have a lot to learn. Especially when I got overtaken by one of the instructors on a CB500 which looked like it had come straight from a riding school!!

I was also now obsessed with getting my knee down and was taking some pretty daft lines to achive this so I decided to call it a day.

An amazing day overall now just got a 12 hour night shift to look forward to.

Didn't get any pics and didn't see a photographer there but here's one I took when I got home
